學生電子郵件系統更新暨空間調整公告 Student Email System Upgrade and Storage Quota Adjustment

各位老師同學好：

為強化校園資訊安全，資教中心訂於 115年7月19日（六） 進行學生電子郵件系統升級。本次更新將調整儲存架構與配額，請同學務必留意下列事項以維護自身資料權益：

一、系統停機時間

    115年7月19日（六）全天（進行系統更新與環境佈署）。

二、功能變動與舊資料備份（重要！）

    個人網頁功能停止： 更新後將不再提供個人網頁空間，資料亦無法轉移。

    雲端硬碟檔案下載： 原個人目錄下之檔案，資教中心將開放 SFTP 功能供同學自行下載備份。

    開放時間： 115年7月20日至116年5月2日止（逾期將永久刪除）。

三、儲存空間配額說明

    新版空間限額： 學生個人空間由 500MB 調升至 1GB（含郵件與新版雲端硬碟總計）。

    替代空間建議： 鑑於校內信箱空間有限，請多加利用在學期間提供之外部雲端資源：

1. Google 雲端硬碟：15GB
2. Office 365 雲端空間：15GB

請同學養成定期清理信件與大型附件的習慣，登入系統後可於首頁查看即時使用量，避免因空間超量導致無法收信。

Dear Students,

To strengthen campus information security, the Information and Instructional Technology Center will perform a major upgrade of the student email system on July 19, 2026 (Saturday). This update will change the storage structure and quota. Please read the following information carefully to protect your data.

I. System Downtime

The email system will be unavailable for the entire day on July 19, 2026, while we perform the system upgrade and environment deployment.

II. Functional Changes and Important Data Backup

Discontinuation of Personal Web Page Service: After the upgrade, personal web page hosting will no longer be available, and existing data cannot be migrated.

Cloud Storage File Backup: Files stored in your old personal directory will not be automatically transferred. We will enable the SFTP function for you to download and back up your own files.

Download Period: From July 20, 2026, to May 3, 2027. Files not downloaded by the deadline will be permanently deleted.

III. New Storage Quota

Your individual storage space will be increased from 500MB to 1GB. This 1GB quota is a combined total for both your email and the new cloud storage.

IV. Recommended Alternative Storage Solutions Since school email storage is limited, we strongly encourage you to make full use of the free cloud services provided during your studies:

1. Google Drive: 15GB
2. Office 365 (OneDrive): 15GB

Please develop the habit of regularly cleaning up old emails and large attachments. After logging into the new system, you can check your real-time storage usage on the homepage to avoid service disruption.
